“Oooeeeoooeeeoooooo! Wah wah wah! Oooeeeoooeeeooooo! Wah wah WAH!”

It’s been fairly quiet in TGNP Land.

I was pretty sure between the office Christmas party and my friends’ Christmas party that I would have at least one epic tale to tell, but sadly that is not the case. The office party ended early (around 9pm). The other party ran late but was surprisingly devoid of fireworks, blown-out screen doors and couch-vaulting. The worst I did was almost bust my butt on the floor in 4″ heels no less than three times while wearing a party dress in front of our company’s CEO.

I know, I know. “It’s like we don’t even know you anymore!” I’m as disappointed as you are.

However, there is a light on the horizon! My husband and I (with my mother-in-law in tow) are driving our son to North Carolina to spend Christmas with my sister-in-law and her family. There will be about 14 kids in one house. Maybe more. I expect there to be much drinking involved.

Since this post is a bit anticlimactic, here’s a video of the theme from “The Good, The Bad and The Ugly” as performed by the California Guitar Trio and the Montreal Guitar Trio!

This almost reads like a blog post, and yet there is an air of newsworthiness about it. And, also, one of impending doom. How many kids? You bringing a u-haul for the vodka?

So is it the kids drinking or the adults? I am confused…

  3. There better be alcohol with that many kids running around. Duct tape might be a good idea, red and white stripped duct tape to spread the cheer!

I’m in constant internal conflict over the whole “kids, especially groups of them, make you want to drink, but is it really a good idea to drink heavily when you might have to take care of said kids?” issue. Not to say I look forward to hearing about your potential misery, but I’m glad to know I’m not the only one who experiences this.

That was pretty awesome, that video there. And your title makes much more sense now.
